Southeast community partners and neighbors are joining together for a large scale SE litter cleanup effort! And YOU are invited!

Join us Sunday 1/11 at 1PM at Starr Hill for an afternoon of aggressively comfortable competition. Cards will be slammed . Draw Fours will be weaponized 4. Onesies are strongly encouraged — fuzzy, ironic, chaotic, emotionally confusing. If you wouldn’t wear it in public normally, that’s the correct choice.

This tournament is fueled by beer , community , and doing good, with proceeds supporting I Heart SE as our Q1 Cheers for Charity partner. $1.00 entry fee—tournament winner takes all!

Let’s take a walk! Come get some steps in this Winter and connect with neighbors as we trek from Starr Hill Brewery to the Star and back!

I Heart SE will have a float in the Downtown Christmas Parade! We need a crowd of SE lovin’ neighbors and community partners to come walk along with our float in the parade!

Meet the Plawkers+Roanoke City Government Reps on Tuesday, October 28, for a 9th Street SE Plawk & Tour!

We will take a 45-60 minute group walk, pick up litter (aka “plawk”), and hear from City staff about the street improvements that have been completed on 9th Street.

Join SE neighbors for a Daisy Art Activation building fairy neighborhoods for public art displays.

Our fairy neighborhoods will pop up around areas of SE that we want to highlight and encourage people to explore. Social media posts will drop hints on where to find fairy neighborhoods for an ongoing scavenger hunt.

This artist led workshop requires no experience. Expect to turn prepped glass and wood starts into fairy houses working with natural materials and hot glue. Foraging natural building materials is encouraged!
