Let's Pollinate SE and celebrate Better Bus Stops! Join us for a Plawk and Photo-Op in celebration of bee-utiful new art bus shelters on Jamison Ave on Tuesday, May 13 at 5:30PM.  

Community partners, plawkers and fans of SE are invited to join in art-themed plawk on Jamison Ave to buzz around “pollinator” art bus shelters designed by local artist Molly Kernan. 

Meet us at the parking lot of Waverly Baptist Church where we will promptly start our neighborhood plawk. We’ll make our way to the Bee and Butterly shelters for a community photo-op then head back to Waverly Baptist Church parking lot around 6:15 for cupcakes and connecting!  

*This Better Bus Stops project in Southeast is a collaborative effort of Valley Metro Roanoke, Roanoke Arts Commission and RIDE Solutions.

The Southeast Plawkers meet every Tuesday (weather permitting) at 5:30pm at various locations in SE. We take a 45ish minute stroll together and pick up litter along the way. No registration is needed - all are welcome!

Bags, gloves, and grabbers are provided (THANKS to our friends at Clean Valley Council!). We hope to see YOU soon! Plawk on!
