Meet the Plawkers on Tuesday, October 7, 5:30pm at Belmont Park (playground/shelter side)—1030 Penmar Ave SE!
Plawking (picking up litter while walking)—it's good exercise, it's good for the environment, and it's good for bringing neighbors and community partners together to meet, interact, and explore Roanoke neighborhoods by foot! It's FUN, too, and you are invited to come along with us!
The Southeast Plawkers meet every Tuesday (weather permitting) at 5:30pm at various locations in SE. We will take a 45ish minute stroll and pick up litter along the way.
Bags, gloves, and grabbers will be provided (THANKS to our friends at Clean Valley Council!).
